ROCEN TESTER PROGRAMME
Tester Agreement
Free beta access until 31 December 2026
Thank you for helping us test ROCEN. This programme is designed to test ROCEN with real small businesses before its wider release and to help us identify problems, improve usability and understand what works well in day-to-day business use.
1. Pre-release software
ROCEN is currently pre-release software and is still being developed and tested.
During the tester programme, features may change and you may occasionally experience faults, errors or interruptions. Please report anything that does not work as expected so that we can investigate it.
2. Cost and free access
There is no charge to participate in the ROCEN Tester Programme.
Registered testers who verify their email and receive testing access will have free access to ROCEN until 31 December 2026.
There is no obligation to become a paying ROCEN customer afterwards.
If you choose to continue using ROCEN after the free period, the currently planned standard subscription price is £19.99 per month from January 2027 for participating testers. Future pricing and subscription arrangements will be confirmed before any payment is required.
ROCEN will never automatically begin charging you without you first agreeing to a paid subscription.
3. What we ask from testers
We ask testers to use ROCEN genuinely during the test period wherever practical, including using its normal business-management features with real work and customers.
You do not need to test every feature or deliberately try to break the software.
We simply ask that you:
- use ROCEN as part of your normal business activity;
- report problems or unexpected behaviour;
- tell us when something is confusing or difficult to use;
- share suggestions and ideas where you think ROCEN could be improved; and
- complete a short feedback review at the end of the test period.
There is no required number of bugs, suggestions or hours of use.
4. Reporting problems and providing feedback
If you need help or find something that is not working, contact [email protected].
For suggestions, ideas or general feedback, contact [email protected].
Where possible, screenshots and a short explanation of what you were doing when a problem occurred will help us investigate it.
5. Business and customer information
You may use real business and customer information while testing ROCEN.
You remain responsible for ensuring that information you enter into ROCEN has been collected and used appropriately for your business.
ROCEN will handle information submitted to the service in accordance with the ROCEN Privacy Notice.
Because ROCEN is pre-release software, you should retain any business records or information that you would normally be required to keep independently of ROCEN.
6. Your feedback
Feedback from testers may be used to improve ROCEN, including changing existing features, developing new features and deciding what should be prioritised.
Providing feedback does not give ROCEN an obligation to implement a particular suggestion and does not create any separate right to payment or ownership in ROCEN or its features.
7. Tester access
Your ROCEN account is for your own authorised use.
Please do not share your login details, distribute pre-release ROCEN software or deliberately provide access to people who are not participating in the tester programme.
You are welcome to talk about your experience of using ROCEN and recommend the service to others.
8. Leaving the tester programme
Participation is voluntary.
You may stop participating at any time, and ROCEN may also end or restrict tester access where reasonably necessary, including for security, misuse or technical reasons.
Participating in the test does not commit you to purchasing ROCEN in the future.
9. Tester access and the end of the programme
ROCEN beta testing is open to UK tradespeople and small business owners, subject to eligibility and available testing places. Email verification is required before testing access is granted.
Participating testers will receive free ROCEN access through 31 December 2026.
ROCEN intends to move towards wider commercial availability following successful testing, but participation in the tester programme does not guarantee a particular public release date or that every test feature will form part of the final service.
10. Acceptance
When registering on the website, you must confirm separately that you have read and agree to this ROCEN Tester Agreement and acknowledge that you have read the ROCEN Privacy Notice. We record the applicable document versions and the date and time of each confirmation. These confirmations do not include marketing consent.
